Julia Kautz is an Austrian platinum-selling singer/songwriter living in Munich. Her songs are honest stories from life – cleverly packaged in catchy German poetry pop. With her touching songs she was able to built a loyal fan base that includes a total of more than 100,000 followers on social media. Her songs were streamed several million times on Spotify alone and that without having a major label behind her! In Japan, she landed a number one hit with a song she wrote for a Korean boy band. Her first own EP “Amnesie” was released at the end of 2020 on the self-founded label Kautz Records. The songs made it into various official playlists from Spotify and TikTok. In addition to her own songs, she writes songs for well-known artists such as Wincent Weiss, Max Mutzke, Cassandra Steen or Ina Rege and has made it to the top of the charts several times. Julia Kautz was Support Act of German Popstar Wincent Weiss for many years. This resulted in her first own “Achtung Baby, es geht los!” tour in autumn 2018 across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In December 2019 she was Support Act of the international Superstar Aura Dione on her German Tour.Before concentrating on her music career, she worked as reporter and moderator for Europe’s largest youth magazine BRAVO. She interviewed Mega Stars like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars and hosted the daily online show BRAVO WebTV.Sometimes she still works as a moderator for interesting inquiries.
